Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 15, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and My Spot (“we”, “us”) for using the My Spot app and the website at my-spot.ca. By creating an account or using My Spot, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission to use My Spot.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile > Settings > Delete my account).

Bookings and payments

  • When you book a court or a session, you agree to pay the price shown before you confirm, including any fees and taxes shown there.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe. Some groups also let you pay with group credit, by Interac e-Transfer, or later; follow the instructions shown when you book.
  • Sessions and courts are run by independent organisers and venues. My Spot provides the app and website you book through; the organiser or venue runs the session or court.
  • Cancellations and refunds follow each session’s own cancellation terms, which are shown before you book. If an organiser or venue cancels, card and credit payments are refunded in full. Money paid by e-Transfer goes directly to the organiser, who handles any refund of it.
  • Credit can be used only in the group, or at the venue, that gave it.

Conduct

  • Treat other players, organisers, and venue staff with respect. No harassment, threats, hate, or discrimination.
  • Don’t create fake accounts, pretend to be someone else, or share other people’s personal information without their permission.
  • Don’t misuse My Spot: no interfering with the service, no automated scraping, and no abusing payments, credits, or refunds.
  • Follow the venue’s rules and the organiser’s instructions at sessions.
  • You can block and report other users. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these terms.

Your mobile number, gender, and your groups

Your mobile number and your groups.Adding a mobile number to your My Spot profile is optional. When you join a group, you agree that the people who run that group (its owner and the managers they choose) can see your mobile number, so they can reach you about its sessions. Through the group, only its organisers see it: not other members, not venues, not other groups. If you turn on “Let my friends see this number”, your My Spot friends can see it too. If you leave the group, its organisers stop seeing it. You can change or remove your number at any time in Profile > Settings > Account information; once removed, no organiser sees it.

Gender. You can tell us your gender (Male, Female, or Prefer not to say). Organisers of your groups see it on the same terms as your mobile number. “Prefer not to say” shows nothing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above, and for important changes we tell you in the app and, where needed, ask you to accept them. If you keep using My Spot after a change, the new terms apply.
